This was the first of the Thames Collection to be completed. A bright spring day in Putney where for some reason I became transfixed by the movement, the contrast, the colours and the repetition of flow of the water.

Strange shapes appeared, like you sometimes see in clouds, and I knew this was a subject to explore.
